Afternoon Clubs at Eastport Elementary School

We are extremely excited to be able to offer after school clubs at Eastport again this year as they allow students to discover interests and build relationships with peers and teachers. Last year our students really enjoyed participating in many of our after school clubs. Clubs will begin in October on Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 with district provided transportation home.  Clubs will be held for two sessions.

Session 1: October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 10, 17, December 1, 8, January 5

Session 2: February 2, 9, 23, March 2, 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13

A brick school building stands under a bright blue sky, with a memorial statue and American flag in the front lawn.

  • (students will be separated into two groups, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th) If you enjoy arts and crafts, this is the club for you. Students will create artwork and help beautify the school.

  • Are you ready to crack codes, conquer mind-bending puzzles, and see math in a whole new light? This club is high-energy where numbers meet teamwork! Students work in collaborative teams to tackle hands-on logic challenges, mystery puzzles, and exciting math games. It’s all about fast thinking, creative problem-solving, and showing that math is anything but boring.

  • If your child ever comes home and talks about Makerspace then this is the club for them. Makerspace is a chance for students to create projects, and friendships, in a stimulating learning environment.

  • (3rd/4th grade will run in Session 1 and 5th/6th will run in Session 2)

This club will meet in the gymnasium or on the fields and play organized games that students may typically play in Physical Education class.

  • (5th & 6th grade students only-maximum of 20 students) This is an exciting opportunity for students to build teamwork, problem-solving, and engineering skills while designing, programming, and competing with LEGO robots. Students will participate in FIRST LEGO League (FLL) challenges. Please understand that there are additional commitments to participate in this club.
